My 8 Returned Peace Corps companions and I, accustomed to being integrated community members, got to play tourists for a day and went on a guided walking tour of Antigua, Guatemala. It is a lovely city with plenty of restored and preserved colonial architecture, remeniscent of Casco Viejo in Panama. Here are some photos. Click on any of the pictures to open up a slideshow.
We also went through an archaeological museum of artifacts from the Early and Classic periods of Guatemalan prehistory. I will put those photos in a separate post.
